Its refreshing to read others success story when you’re going through this. I hope I can see it through. 4 years of suboxone isn’t easy to kick. For the last eight months or so I’ve been taking about 1mg/day and have tapered down on my own to fingernail scrappings from the side of. A pill. Its been about 42 hours since I’ve done that. Have been experiencing WD symptoms for the last week But it hasn’t been as bad as I had anticipated …yet. have smoked weed to help me sleep, lots of liquids & a huge bottle of excedrine. Hoping I don’t ever have to see that suboxone clinic again.

thank you for posting this. ive been going back and forth the last week trying to do this cold turkey while i have my 14 month old clinging to my leg. he needs his mommy at all times. and its sooo hard once the second day starts. today is another day one for me. i make it to day two til around 4pm and cant stand it anymore. if i cant take care of myself, how the hell am i supposed to take care of my child? well this is what i ask myself. but the fact is i want my life back. i want to be free from all of this. i want to live. people like yourselves show theres hope for people like me.
